Google Adsense ads are getting more hits than any web page in the world wide web. This is because of the fact that many of the web pages in the wild carry adsense ads. Adsense ads are so wildly distributed that they are more distributed than any other software. And they are controlled from a central server too.
What can these ads used for other than being pure distractions in a webpage? Can we build a Distributed Adsense Machine from them?

From the latest developments it looks like IE8 will default to the IE7 behavior. It will render websites in the original IE8 mode only if a special meta tag is inserted into the webpages by developers. I have already written about this pathetic solution of version targeting. In addition, I think the defaulting to IE7 behavior has some other far reaching consequences.
